Hawaii education and health grants
There are many federal agencies that have funding available for Hawaii small business owners or soon to be owners. We are going to look at the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services in order to see if these agencies may have grant funding for your small business.
First we will look at the Department of Education and see if there is any grant information you may be able to use. The Department of Education as you may have guessed has grants available to help the education in our country. Most of the grant funding goes to non-profit organizations. There are some, mind you not a lot, of grants that may assist a small business in Hawaii with funding through grants.
You may be able to submit a proposal if your business is going to be dealing with excelling the education system. Products that help enhance the learning would be the type of business that the Department of Education would support. But as stated before most of the Department of education grant funding does go to non-profit organizations. However, if your business is designed to help improve education in the nation with a product or procedure this may be where you would want to look for the grant money to start your business in Hawaii.
The next department we will go over is the Department of Health and Human Services. If you’re small Hawaii business is looking to do research or develop new research technology the Department of Health and Human Services is where you may want to start looking for a grant. This federal agency is also known to give grants to those the do academic research enhancement, commercializing innovative technologies, and research projects.
There are many ways to see your business in one of these fields just find the rare niche no one has thought of is the hardest part. As we have discussed in previous articles there are many places to look for grants when you want to start a small business the key is knowing what your business is going to accomplish and insuring you have all the information one would need to make sure you can not only meet your goals for your business but have the funding to relieve some of the stress to better your time reaching those goals.
